bird-watching, mountain bikes, game viewing (Zebra, Kudu, Impala, Hippo, Wildebeest).

SIGHT-SEEING
Within 15 km - Kruger National Park and Shangana Cultural Village.
Within 60 km - Pilgrim's Rest, Sabie and Graskop, various waterfalls, Bourke's Luck Potholes and God's Window.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Access Road: ½ km good gravel road from main R40 tar road.
Bathroom: en-suite, shower in bath.
Breakfast: we bring breakfast to you, and cater for all dietary needs.
Braai/ Barbecue: each cottage has it's own braai area and we can provide a full braai-pack: steak, braai breads, vegetables, salad and/or dessert @ R60 pp. Charcoal and fire lighter available at reception.
Credit Cards: we accept - Visa, Master, American Express and Diners Club.
Distances: approx 400km. from Johannesburg/Pretoria, a comfortable 4 hour drive including a stop.
Deposits: we request a 50% deposit (bank payment or credit card). Balances are payable on arrival (cash or credit card).
Fireplace: due to our warm climate, this is not available.
Heating/Cooling: each cottage has an airconditioner for heating or cooling purposes.
Kitchen: equipped with fridge, microwave and tea & coffee making facilities (there is no oven, only a 2-plate stove).
Kruger National Park: 15 km from Thulamela, Phabeni- or Numbi Gate (Kruger Gate - 45km.)

Malaria: we are in a low risk area, but please consult your pharmacist.
Mini Bar: stocked with mineral water, wine (red, dry white and semi-sweet), brandy, whisky, gin, beer, Amarula, iced tea, tonic, soda, coke, coke-light and fruit juice. The mini-bar works on a cash-bar principle. You are welcome to bring your own drinks.
Pets: sorry, no pets allowed.
Special Occations: we will gladly try and meet your needs to facilitate special occations, eg. anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, honeymoons.
Parking: open parking with security guard at night.
Smoking: is not encouraged inside the cottage.
Spa/Jacuzzi: 4 seater, heated, undercover, on patio.
TV's: there are numerous restaurants and bars where sport matches can be watched. |
